OPSEU to release election platform during interactive town hall

Toronto – OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas will launch his union’s election platform during an interactive town hall meeting on Tuesday, May 8, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Called Vote Better, the platform calls for smarter and more sustainable investment in a number of services and programs that affect people in communities across the province.

OPSEU is inviting its 155,000 members, along with journalists and members of the public, to take part in the interactive town hall, which is called TalkON. People can participate in either French or English over the phone, on the web, or via social media.
