The Experiences of Ontario’s Migrant Workers

On Wednesday, May 5th, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM, The Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL), collaboratively with Justice for Migrant Workers (J4MW), UFC, Migrant Workers Alliance, and Ryerson University, is pleased to host the first in a three-part webinar series titled “The Experiences of Ontario’s Migrant Workers.”

The first part of the series will explore the experiences of agricultural migrant workers across the province.

This webinar series stemmed from the recent crisis in Windsor-Essex, where hundreds of workers contracted COVID-19. Two people died and many others were also affected. These workers describe the inhumane conditions (food, accommodations, etc.) they were expected to work in.
