Dear OPSEU/SEFPO member working at Public Health Ontario:
We are happy to report an Interest Arbitration date has been confirmed, it will take place on April 30th, 2022.
The bargaining team will be meeting in the coming months to prepare our case for the items in dispute that the arbitrator will rule on.
We would also like to welcome Cathy Masterson from L.522 to the Union bargaining team who will be replacing Raul Chicas, L. 545 who has left PHO. Thank you Cathy for stepping up and providing strong support to our bargaining team.
As always we truly appreciate your resilience and unfettered determination during this pandemic. Ontario simply cannot keep up with testing demands without your efforts and expertise. We will continue to pressure this employer to support public lab workers and meet our demands at the table.
