The bargaining process has many steps – we are at the start. The Bargaining Demands Survey will then be analysed to draft proposals in collaboration with our membership by the end of the year, for the Bargaining Team. They will make the decision (if necessary) to hold a strike-mandate vote. We members will use that to decide together whether or not we authorise the use of such a potential labour action as a catalyst to stimulate progress in the bargaining process to move along in our favour.
OPSEU/SEFPO will support the bargaining process from beginning until the end, with a full strike fund and full legal & media support.
