We are excited to invite you to submit your application to attend the 2026 OPSEU/SEFPO Retirees Conference. It will take place from Wednesday, October 28 to Friday, October 30, 2026. This year’s theme is “Older, Wiser, Stronger…. We’re Not Asking.”
This will be an opportunity for you to connect with our network of retired members from across the province. You will learn from powerful keynote speakers and from exciting, planned activities. You will be inspired, uplifted, and empowered in your union activist journey as a retiree.
The conference theme will explore the strength and health of our retired union activists from across OPSEU/SEFPO’s 7 regions. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of advocacy and will be inspired and empowered to continue supporting today’s activists. They will do this using the wisdom from years of union activism, knowledge gained from experience, and collective strength.
We will achieve this by bringing together diverse speakers to educate, inspire, and motivate through shared knowledge and experiences. We aim to transform the work we do in our union and in our communities to create lasting change rooted in equality and collective strength.
Event participants will be selected by the Chairs of the Retired Members Division with assistance from OPSEU/SEFPO’s Member Equity Unit. Space is limited and the selection process will aim to achieve a diverse group of attendees.
