As you know there are plans to transport and bury thousands of tonnes of high-level radioactive waste at the headwaters of our watershed. Grassy Narrows, Fort William First Nation, and many other Nations are saying no to nuclear waste to protect the land, the water, and future generations.
We need a collective voice to stop this project.
Come hear from community members and leadership and stand with us as we protect the water.
What to bring:
- Banners and signs (“Water is Life,” “Gaawiin! No Nuclear Waste,” “Protect Treaty 3”)
- Drums and voices
- Friends and family
In Solidarity,
Indigenous Circle
