As an update from LockTalk #22, the Bargaining Team has scheduled an additional mediation date with Mediator Wright on April 6, 2026, to continue mediated talks with the Employer.
The mediation process is confidential, conducted on a ‘without prejudice’ basis. Additional mediation dates may be scheduled as the Team remains committed to negotiating at the table until the parties reach an agreement or impasse.
As shared in the last LockTalk, the Bargaining Team began discussions with the Employer to secure an arbitrator and an arbitration date to ensure this round of bargaining concludes without further delays. The Parties have now agreed to use Arbitrator Russell Goodfellow on August 17, 2026, should we reach impasse and arbitration be required.
