Remove job posting (or any other post) without deleting
Edit the post and change post status from “published” to “draft”, hit OK, and then update.

Add and edit a form with New/Mode
Once you have created a form on New/Mode and copied the embed code, you can paste it into the content of a post or into a text box on a page.
In order for it to work, you must paste the code into the “Text (HTML)” tab of the text editor.

Add and edit a form with WPForms
If you don’t need a form that looks up a person’s politician based on postal code, the wordpress plugin WP Forms is probably easiest.
In the lefthand sidebar, there are several “forms” items, but the only one we every use on this list is WP Forms.
Once you’ve hit the WP Forms tab, you’ll go into a section where you can:
- Duplicate an old form (highly recommended over creating a new form)
- Edit an existing form
- Download the entries to a form
There is quite a lot of clicking through different tabs on each form. Fortunately, it’s quite straightforward if you’re patient.

To have a WP Form appear on a post or a page, you can use an “embed code”, which you can get from the “embed” button at the top of the WP Forms window.
Once you have copied the embed code, just paste it into a post, and the form will appear there.

Customized URL for a post
It’s easy to fully customize the URL of a page. There are also times when you might need to customize the URL of a post.
To do it, create a page like https://opseu.org/olivia/. The page just needs a title like “olivia pointer”
To set your custom URL, edit the permalink (just below the title)
In the “Page Links To”, choose “custom URL” and paste in the URL of the link which needs a custom URL.

Fix french translations when they don’t appear
For anybody who’s having trouble getting French translations to appear, here’s a workaround.

User: newapedersen
Password: CGQmh2lD!qLlbB30xnEzdVgW
Once logged in, find the post that needs fixing and edit it
When you’re editing the post itself, “vider le cache” appears in two places:
- In the “publier” box to the right of the post
- Under the “WP Rocket” dropdown in the top menu bar.

Remove “french” from menu
To turn off the “French” item in a menu, select the Menu, click on the “advanced” tab, and paste the following line into the “custom css” field at the bottom of the advanced tab:
.language-switcher {display:none!important}
