Congratulations to all of the OPSEU/SEFPO members who participated in the Region 1 Weeklong Educational in April 2026.
The training was hosted at the Unifor Family Education Centre in Port Elgin with courses including:
- Stewards 1, Stewards 2, and Stewards 3
- Basic Grievance Handling, Advanced Grievance Handling, and Interpreting your Collective Agreement
- Arbitration – The Arbitration Process
- Indigenous Journey – Walking Together – Parts 1, 2 and 3
- Workers Health & Safety Centre – Health & Safety Certification
This weeklong educational was made possible with thanks to the OPSEU/SEFPO Education Unit, Region 1 staff, and the Region 1 Educational Planning Committee. OPSEU/SEFPO provides educational programs that empower our members to create meaningful change in our workplaces and communities.
