“Bargaining this year might look different than it normally does, doing virtual meetings instead of in-person. But I’m confident that we will bargain as strong as ever despite the obstacles we face. And you have the full support of OPSEU/SEFPO every step of the way. Your bargaining team will have every resource available to you at OPSEU/SEFPO – communications, campaigns, research, and much more. Let’s get a fair, strong agreement for all Public Health Ontario members!”
– Warren (Smokey) Thomas, OPSEU/SEFPO President.
Meet your 2021 Bargaining Team

The meeting was a success and your bargaining team was elected!

“Thank you for all your support. I will ensure that your voices are heard in every sphere and your concerns are addressed. With your vote, you have shown unity in your desire for workplace fairness, a positive working environment, and sustainable life-work balance. During the pandemic, you have devoted your lives to Ontarians, providing critical lab results 24/7 for our communities and families. Your bargaining team will ensure that your hard work around the clock will not go unrecognized.” – Omid Nouri, Bargaining Team Chair.
Next Steps
Your bargaining team has been provided with a clear mandate and will be preparing over the next few months for bargaining with the Employer.
Keep an eye on your email for PHOLine newsletter updates as bargaining begins.
We look forward to hearing from you, working with you, and fighting for you!
In Solidarity,
