The 2026 Ontario Budget will be released on March 26. Join a community Budget watch party and townhall, hosted by the Worth Fighting For campaign. Events are happening online and in-person across Ontario!
The Provincial Budget shapes services we rely on every day. We all feel the impact on underfunding for the services we rely on – long waitlists for support, crumbling social services, and kids falling through the cracks.
Come watch the Budget release, talk about what this budget means for your community, connect with others, and make plans for action. Jobs, services and communities are Worth Fighting For!
Live: Online Budget Watch Party
Join the Worth Fighting For campaign to watch the budget release live, talk about what it means for workers in Ontario, and hold the government accountable for meeting the demands of millions of Ontarians who rely on community and social services. Community and social service workers, OPSEU/SEFPO members and community allies will be watching the government as they table the budget at Queen’s Park, and showing they are ready to fight back.

Jobs, communities and services are Worth Fighting For
Tens of thousands of community and social service workers and their communities have been calling on the government to address the stolen wages linked to Bill 124 and to properly fund services that kids, families and communities rely on. Yet, year after year, funding has declined even as demand and waitlists for social services continue to grow. Together, we can fight back and demand better.
