Local 473’s 85 members from Madawaska Valley Association for Community Living reached a tentative agreement in Pembroke through the help of a conciliation officer. After 13 days of bargaining the local is pleased with the results. Bill Green is the local’s highest ranking (VP) and is the Bargaining Team Chair. The local will be having a ratification meeting in Barry’s Bay at Activities Plus on Thursday, June 24th at 1pm until 2pm and then again from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
