May is Jewish Heritage Month—a time to honour the rich history, diverse cultures, and lasting contributions of Jewish communities across Ontario. Traditions of learning, justice, and community care continue to shape and inspire our work in the labour movement and beyond.
The Jewish Caucus celebrates the strength, creativity, and resilience of Jewish workers, past and present. This month offers an opportunity to reflect on our shared heritage, uplift Jewish voices, and deepen our commitment to equity and solidarity for all.
Throughout May, we encourage everyone to learn more about the culture, history, and achievements of Jewish communities in Canada. By sharing our stories and learning from one another, we help build a future rooted in mutual respect and understanding. Celebrating the contributions of all communities brings us closer together.
This Jewish Heritage Month, we invite you to explore the history and work of the Jewish Labour Committee and its enduring legacy in the fight for justice.
In Solidarity,
