As outlined in our last communication in October, your HPD Bargaining Team has been working hard to get our employer to agree to a path forward for interest arbitration. After weeks of our employer dragging their feet and refusing to agree to our proposed arbitrators, we are happy to announce that we have been making progress. As of this week, both parties have agreed to an arbitrator and are working to schedule our dates for interest arbitration in early 2026.
Once we have been able to secure our dates, we will be able to update members with the name of our agreed upon arbitrator along with the confirmed dates for interest arbitration.
We want to thank members for the strong support you have shown during the bargaining process and for your patience as we navigate these next steps.
