On June 23, 2022, your bargaining team engaged in interest arbitration before arbitrator William Kaplan. During interest arbitration, the arbitrator hears submissions and evidence from the union and the employer on matters which the parties have not been able to settle in their negotiations. The decision of an arbitrator or arbitration board is final and binding. We originally had two dates scheduled. However, we were able to make all our submissions on the first day. We expect that the arbitrator’s decision will be issued in the coming weeks. We’ll provide an update as soon as his decision is released.
