Voting begins today at 12:00 p.m. on our tentative agreement, and will be open until Tuesday, November 4th at 3:00 p.m. Every full-time college support staff can vote on accepting the tentative agreement brought forward by the Bargaining Team.This moment marks a strategic milestone – not the end of our fight, but a powerful opportunity to solidify our gains through this agreement and build even greater collective strength as we organize toward the next round of bargaining. Your bargaining team is recommending that members vote “yes” to accept the tentative collective agreement.
How to vote:
- You should have received your unique voting credentials this morning from the Ontario Labour Relations Board. This could go to your work email address, or if in some cases, to your personal email address. Don’t forget to check your spam folder!
- Follow the instructions in the email and cast your ballot between Friday October 31st at 12:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 4th before 3:00 p.m. This is a secret ballot vote that is cast online – no one (including the employer) will know how you voted.
Your participation is important – this is your collective agreement and this is an important opportunity to exercise your voice to shape our collective working conditions.
