Rallies for publicly funded education will be taking place on Saturday October 24 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm in Toronto, Ottawa, London, Sudbury, and Thunder Bay.
All OPSEU/SEFPO members are encouraged to attend to show your support for education workers and fixing the crisis in our public school system.

Ottawa – Parliament Hill
Toronto – Queen’s Park
The provincial government has underfunded public education for Kindergarten through Grade 12 in Ontario by $6.5 billion since 2018.
This is the total amount school boards have lost compared to if funding had kept pace with enrolment and inflation.
Class sizes are growing. Support for students with special needs is falling further behind. Education workers are overworked and face increased violence at work.
It’s time to send a clear message to the government: we are all together for publicly funded education!
