Congratulations to OPSEU/SEFPO Local 249 – Central West Specialized Developmental Services!
After 17 weeks of extraordinary resilience and solidarity on the picket line – and two grueling days in mediation – the OPSEU/SEFPO Local 249 bargaining team has secured a deal.
Workers held the line against all odds. Through their solidarity, they refused to let a vicious employer divide them. Together, they achieved incredible gains for themselves and their sector and their win sets the stage for all of OPSEU/SEFPO.
Thank you to the community, allies, and OPSEU/SEFPO members who supported this fight – and to the families who fiercely advocated for their loved ones.
