Hello OPSEU,
We are excited to launch our 2026 bargaining survey for HPD members. Your input will help inform our sector’s response to the provincial budget and expand member-driven data relating to recruitment and retention.
We are sending out this survey now, prior to the results of the central arbitration award, in anticipation of bargaining in 2027, and to provide locals ample time to develop and set demands.
This survey is an opportunity for you to voice your concerns relating to layoffs, vacancies, and other issues affecting the sector. The results of this survey will provide valuable insight into the scope and scale of these challenges.
Even if your bargaining unit does not participate in central bargaining, what is contained in the central agreement often directly affects what you are able to achieve in your own local bargaining. That’s why we’re looking for input from all locals and members before the most crucial decisions are made.
This survey is intended to be completely anonymous unless you indicate otherwise. This survey is for you alone, so please don’t complete it on behalf of anyone else. You may only submit your answers once.
Please complete the survey by April 22, 2026.
If you are unable to fill out the survey online and require a word document, please contact us by emailing [email protected].
In solidarity,
