Members of Local 720, Canadian Mental Health Association – Thunder Bay Branch are pleased to announce the ratification of their first collective agreement. Newly-organized in August of 2012, these members support individuals through recovery and promoting mental wellness by providing service in the area of Early Psychosis Intervention, Crisis Response Services (phone, mobile, crisis bed), Court Programs (diversion, case management), Skills Development, Housing Supports, and Case Management as well as Education and Support.
The local has nothing but praise for the OPSEU staff and members that assisted them through their journey, and says it has been a reflection of the inclusive community they believe in.
