My gratitude goes out to all CBS members. Your work keeping Ontario’s blood supply safe during this pandemic has been vital. You keep the province running, by keeping people healthy. I know, it hasn’t been easy. You’ve faced extremely stressful conditions on the front lines of this crisis. But you’ve got the full support of OPSEU/SEFPO. We’ll make every resource available to ensure your success at the bargaining table.– Warren (Smokey) Thomas, OPSEU/SEFPO President
Bargaining this round will be markedly different than any previous. Not only will caucusing and negotiating take place in a virtual format but the experience of the pandemic will no doubt greatly influence our Member’s priorities. The good news is that your Bargaining team is experienced and prepared. We are determined to improve working conditions for all of our Members. With your support, as well as the support of OPSEU/SEFPO’s 170,000 members, I am confident in our success.– Geoff Cain, Bargaining Team Chair
