After a week of mediation and continued negotiations with the Employer, your bargaining team is pleased to announce that the parties have reached a tentative agreement for a merged collective agreement.
This is an important milestone in the bargaining process and represents the result of many months of negotiations, mediation, and the ongoing commitment of your bargaining team to secure the best possible outcome for members.
To ensure members have the information they need before casting their vote, we will be holding town hall meetings and information sessions where members will have an opportunity to review the tentative agreement, ask questions, and hear directly from the bargaining team.
On Monday July 20th, members will receive:
- A comprehensive synopsis of the tentative agreement highlighting the proposed changes.
- A copy of the full Memorandum of Settlement (MOS).
- Details confirming the date and times for information sessions.
- Ratification date and voting instructions.
We encourage all members to take the time to review the materials, attend an information session to make an informed decision when it comes time to vote.
