Join Us for a Special Screening of Being Heumann in Celebration of International Day for Persons with Disabilities
The OPSEU/SEFPO Disability Rights Caucus invites members to a special in-person watch party featuring Being Heumann, a documentary celebrating the life and legacy of disability rights activist Judy Heumann.
The film follows Judy Heumann and more than 100 young disability rights activists as they fight for equal rights, including their historic takeover of the San Francisco Federal Building.
Join fellow members for an evening of film, connection, and reflection as we celebrate International Day for Persons with Disabilities and recognize the collective power of disability rights activism.
This is a free, in-person event. Snacks will be provided!
