Local Elections Reference Guide now available online
Are you in the midst of planning for your upcoming local elections? The Training and Development Unit has developed a Reference Guide for Local Elections that will help you at all stages of planning your election meeting.
In this new Guide, you will find the following information:
- What the OPSEU Constitution requires for local elections
- A detailed Local Elections Checklist that you can use when planning your election meeting
- Sample plans for creating voting booths for your local’s election.
For your convenience, we have put the Guide online so you can download and print as many copies as you like. You can find it here: Hands On Education Activities and Tools (under the “Meeting and Facilitation Tools” heading).
We hope you will find the Reference Guide for Local Elections helpful in planning your next local election.
