OPSEU/SEFPO celebrates the value and resilience of transgender people and all people of non-binary gender identity, both within Ontario and around the world.
In our ongoing commitment to create spaces that are more equitable and inclusive, we recognize that there are OPSEU/SEFPO members who are transitioning and/or identify as non-binary. We want to hear from you! We would like to update our records and ensure that we are using your preferred name and pronoun(s).
Please send a written notification to [email protected] indicating your identified gender and change of name (if applicable).
Some areas for updating with identified name, pronoun, and/or gender may include mailing lists, member records, email address, member identification card and web pages.
Please note, OPSEU/SEFPO name and gender information must match your employer records.
To those of you who are transitioning or have transitioned to another gender identity, we offer you our continued support and best wishes.
In Solidarity,
OPSEU/SEFPO Equity Unit
