Please join us for an open forum on PSWs and Health and Safety.Wednesday, January 18 Health and Safety at work 6:30 pm-7:30 pm We’ll focus on health and safety conditions and how they can be improved. An OPSEU/ SEFPO Health and Safety Officer will join us to answer questions and offer guidance.We’ll discuss:
- Understaffing leading to higher workloads, making work unfair and unsafe
- The toll on mental and physical health (exhaustion, injury, getting sick, depression)
- Physical harm (long hours leading to less focus and more injuries)
- Fear of speaking out
