OPSEU/SEFPO’s Provincial Human Rights Committee (PHRC) will be holding its biennial conference from November 4-5, 2024 at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Ottawa (100 Kent Street).
The theme for this conference is “What is Human Rights, and How to be a Good Activist.” Participants will be equipped with tools and ways to build activists and how activism is being done. We will also be delving into the many layers of human trafficking, what are the signs to look for, how to identify it, and what role we all can play from preventing it. The call out for applications will be available soon so stay tuned for more information.
