- 2025 Conference Theme (SHE) Strength, Health and Empowerment. Will explore the strength, health, and the empowerment of women across all aspects of society.
- Participants will gain a deeper understanding of our sisters from across the spectrums.
- We’ll strategize on ways to combat, stereotypes, gender inequalities, racism, and barriers that continues to challenge and impact women.
- Goals: This year’s event will highlight the skills, talents, and leadership of our activists, with an emphasis on overall wellbeing and personal growth.
- At the same time, we will examine key Issues around race and access to services.
- We’ll do this by bringing together diverse expert speakers-to educate, inspire, and motivate through shared knowledge and experiences.
- We aim to transform the work we do in our union and in our communities to create lasting change rooted in equality and collective strength
- If you have joined us before or this will be your first time, we encourage you to apply!
- Event participants will be selected by the Provincial Women’s Committee with assistance from OPSEU/SEFPO’s Member Equity Unit.
- The selection process will aim to achieve a diverse group of attendees, from all background, skills, ethnicity and age.

Child care is provided and available throughout the conference:

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Sheraton Parkway Hotel in Richmond Hill, ON. As per policy, members must stay at the event hotel.
More information about hotel reservations will be sent to successful applicants upon completion of the selection process. The 60km rule has been waived for this event. Therefore, all participants will be entitled to stay at the hotel on a single room cost basis based on the approved rate.
