I work in a kindergarten classroom with over 25 children.
When in-person classes were being held I reported to work every day with my mandatory COVID Self Check completed and reported to the school board. I retrieved my PPE for the day and reported for bus and yard supervision.
Every day I was sick with concern because there were too many students to allow for safe distancing during learning or eating together at our community tables.
I miss seeing my students in person every day, but I can sleep at night knowing that they’re safe learning remotely during the third wave of the pandemic.
