November Spotlight: Chuck Labelle

In absence of this year’s conference, the Provincial Francophone Committee (PFC) will be hosting a series of monthly virtual evening events throughout the Fall. They are open to all OPSEU/SEFPO members and their family and friends. These are special occasions to celebrate our language and culture while being entertained by Franco-Ontarian artists… en français!

Everyone will be delighted by the quality of selected artists. It will be an occasion to participate with all members of your family of all ages!

Join OPSEU/SEFPO’s PFC in a family-friendly winter and holiday-themed songs with Chuck Labelle! It will be held on Wednesday, November 17, from 7pm to 8:30pm.

November Spotlight: Chuck Labelle

Since the launch of his album Un cadeau de Noël in 1995, Chuck has presented nearly 750 holiday shows across the country.

He is known as the “Northern Ontario Cowboy.”  This Franco-Ontarian artist has eight albums to his name (five of which are holiday albums) and a career spanning over 30 years. Originally from Mattawa, Chuck has called Sudbury home for many years. He has also won various awards for his work.

In his music, Chuck brings messages of love, sharing and togetherness and his performances always bring people back to their childhood, to a time when the world wasn’t so complicated. This upcoming performance will be for the whole family, for everyone to sing and dance – just in time for the holidays!

Note: This event will be held in French.
