OPSEU’s “virtual” Convention video

On April 6, OPSEU’s Executive Board made the difficult decision to postpone Convention 2020.

While Convention is the union’s highest decision-making body, the dangers of COVID-19 remain too great for face-to-face meetings.

As part of an effort to fulfil obligations to provide open and transparent reporting of OPSEU business, President Warren (Smokey) Thomas and First Vice-President/Treasurer Eduardo (Eddy) Almeida are providing a state of the union address remotely from their offices.  They will talk about how we’ll overcome the challenges in the year ahead.
