Toronto – OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas has announced that the union’s bargaining team reached a tentative settlement with the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) shortly before 1 a.m.

Talks at the bargaining table between the union and the employer continue at this time. Both sides have agreed to extend the strike deadline by 2 hours to allow additional time for discussions.

We will continue to update on the status of negotiations as they proceed.
