Toronto – With the Ministry of Labour issuing a “no board” report earlier today, the clock is ticking towards a strike deadline for workers at the LCBO of 12:01 a.m. on June 26.

Time is running out for the LCBO to reach a deal with its unionized workers. The workers will be in a legal strike position by the end of the month after requesting a no board report from the Ministry of Labour. The union says privatization of the LCBO and full time jobs are major concerns.

The Ontario Public Service Employees Union says it has requested a no board report from the Ministry of Labour. OPSEU says workers have been stuck in casual positions for decades, working seven days a week and taking home less than $30,000 a year.

Toronto – With conditions deteriorating in workplaces across the province, the bargaining team for LCBO workers has asked the Ontario Ministry of Labour for a “no board” report, with a strike deadline anticipated before the end of the month in contract negotiations with LCBO management.
