Algonquin College is ending its operations in Saudi Arabia, citing financial reasons. What it didn’t point to – though it should have been a major factor in the decision – is the gross human rights record of the Saudi government and its treatment of women.

After just three years, Algonquin College is pulling out of Saudi Arabia. The college announced in a news release that its board of governors has directed senior management to transfer the responsibility of Algonquin College Saudi Arabia back to authorities in that country.

Information

Setting a strike deadline has resulted in the Colleges asking for a vote on their offer.  This was something that the Union had been seeking since November 12th.
