TORONTO – The union representing more than 10,000 community college faculty has requested the services of a Ministry of Labour conciliator as contract talks with management have come to a standstill.
News from the bargaining table
Face-to-face bargaining started on June 4th, 2012. The Union and Employer negotiating teams introduced themselves and exchanged opening documents. Both parties confirmed that they would like to negotiate an on-time settlement by August 31.
