To get a better understanding of the working conditions, and emotional and physical wellness of our members during COVID-19, OPSEU is inviting you to take part in a survey about your experience working during this pandemic.
We think it is important to document a wide variety of workers’ experiences. So we worked with other unions and Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW) and researchers at the Institute of Work & Health and Duke University in North Carolina on a survey that will report on workers’ experiences during this challenging time.
The survey provides an opportunity for workers to tell their stories about workplace issues, activities, and emotions during the pandemic. Feel free to fill it out more than once if things change. The results will give us a collective view (nation-wide) of the pandemic from workers’ standpoint. We’ll use the results to validate workers concerns, identify gaps, assess health and safety issues, and make recommendations for change.
Please note that there are two surveys. One is for “Healthcare,” which includes: Sector 1 – Ambulance; Sector 8 – Long-Term Care; Sector 10 – HPD; Sector 11 – Hospital Support; Sector 17 – Community Health Care; Sector 18 – Mental Health and Addictions.
The other survey is for “General Sector”, or everyone else. Please use the correct link applicable to you. Both are below.
The survey takes about 10 to 20 minutes to complete. It’s confidential, voluntary, and the data will be stored on a secure server. You can skip questions.
