The news website Inquinte.ca covered the We Own It town hall in Belleville on November 7 and reports that, "the meeting room was filled to capacity Tuesday night, as members of the community came to listen about how privatization is hurting public services. The meeting had public sector workers and concerned community members spilling out the door." In the article, OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas says: "When services are publicly owned, they provide better service and a higher quality of work."
