New legislation that will move the work of Community Care Access Centres (CCACs) into Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) is being tabled today, June 2.
Representatives from OPSEU and other unions met this morning for a broad conversation with Tim Hadwen, an assistant deputy minister with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. He provided an advanced technical briefing on the legislative amendments the government is proposing.
Please be assured that we will be reviewing the amendments very carefully in the days ahead. We will provide our analysis as soon as we have studied the legislation.
A message from the sector executive of OPSEU Sector 17, Community Health Care Professionals.
