Unionized paramedics take over island station (Kingston Whig-Standard)

The last remaining paramedic station staffed completely by volunteers in Ontario shifts to unionized staff. Starting Monday, the Frontenac Paramedic Service's station on Wolfe Island officially transitioned from a volunteer operation to a unionized one.
