Why is Kingsmere Retirement Living so understaffed?
Sienna Senior Living charges Kingsmere residents thousands of dollars every month, but pays many of the PSWs, nurses, dietary workers, housekeepers, concierges and activity assistants who care for them less than a living wage. That’s why there is such a staff shortage at Kingsmere – no one can afford to work for less than it costs to live.
The pandemic showed everyone that the way we do business in retirement homes has to change – cutting corners and understaffing is deadly. Sienna Senior Living has to change their ways.
Kingsmere residents deserve quality care. Kingsmere staff deserve a living wage. Let’s come together on March 25th and demand better from Sienna Senior Living!
