Black River-Matheson municipal workers, members of CUPE Local 1490, have been on the picket line for 19 weeks, after they were locked out by their employer. These hard-working municipal employees, including road workers and arena attendants keep the community running.
Last week, they joined forces to rally with the locked-out members of OPSEU/SEFPO Local 631 at CMHA Cochrane-Timiskaming and say #EndTheLockout of mental health and addictions workers in our northern communities!
