SEIU Healthcare members are on strike, fighting for fair wage increases, paid sick days for part-time workers and mental health days for the members who work with extremely vulnerable clients. The bargaining committee has been at the table for months trying to secure a fair deal for the 128 members at Kerry’s Place, but talks have broken down.
Kerry’s Place workers are predominantly Autism Support Workers. They are racialized workers who face racism and harassment in the workplace from clients with little employer support.
Here’s how you can help:

Workers across Ontario are fighting. Years of low pay, historic inflation and worsening working conditions are leaving workers no choice but to take strike action
In the wake of Bill 28’s historic defeat, our movement is well poised to help these workers win.
