Dear OPSEU/SEFPO CBS members,
In the wake of Bill 124 being declared void and of no effect, we now have an opportunity to demand a better wage that reflects our worth and the hard work we do every day.
On August 22 and 23 we are returning to the bargaining table with the Employer to table a revised Monetary Position.
We are dedicated to ensuring that the Employer respects us and values our contribution, and we need your support and solidarity to make this happen.
“There’s power in a display of solidarity. Your support for your bargaining team not only strengthens our position but also underscores the point that you want nothing less than respect and a fair deal. So let’s leverage our collective power as we return to the bargaining table,” – Geoff Cain, Chair.
Please join us on August 9 for your local provincial Summer Solidarity events for a day to get together, talk about our issues, and build our collective power. Your issues are top priority and by attending and participating, you’ll also be showing your support for your bargaining team. Your presence at these events will send a powerful message to the Employer that we stand united in our goal to secure a fair contract.
