Pharmacy Technicians at all four Trillium Health Partners’ locations voted overwhelmingly in favor of joining OPSEU/SEFPO. OPSEU/SEFPO already represents Biomedical Technologists in Local 296 at Trillium Health Partners.
Pharmacy Technicians provide pharmacy services to various departments across Trillium Health Partners’ hospitals in Mississauga and Toronto.
“We’re thrilled to welcome another group of Hospital Professionals from Trillium Health. It takes courage to organize and join a union,” said OPSEU/SEFPO President JP Hornick. “Now that they’ve taken this step, they’ll have a collective voice in the workplace and can confidently raise their concerns to their employer without fear of repercussions and with the knowledge that over 180,000 members across the province are ready to stand in solidarity with them!”
