Yesterday, Ford’s Conservative government released its 2023 Ontario budget and OPSEU/SEFPO President JP Hornick and First Vice-President/Treasurer Laurie Nancekivell were at Queen’s Park to look at the budget and speak to media.
They spoke to a number of outlets, and were a part of media coverage that included CP24, CBC News Radio and The Toronto Star:
JP Hornick, president of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union — which represents members in public schools as well as post-secondary institutions — said “there’s no money in here for education, or health care. There’s no money for people … they don’t recognize that there is an economy that is run by people, for people.”
