Congratulations to OPSEU/SEFPO Executive Board Member Rob Boulet (Region 6 Secretary/Treasurer) who has been elected as the Co-Chair for the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association – North America and the Caribbean (ILGA-NAC).
ILGA is an international federation of more than 1,700 organizations from over 160 countries and territories worldwide, campaigning for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and intersex human rights. ILGA operates in different regions, including Pan Africa ILGA, ILGA Asia, ILGA-Europe, ILGA Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), ILGA North America and the Caribbean (NAC), and ILGA Oceania (Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and Pacific islands).
As part of ILGA-NAC, Boulet will work alongside other distinguished members, including Debbie Owusu-Akyeeah (Executive Director, Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity: Canada), Kenita Placide (Executive Director, Eastern Caribbean Alliance-ECADE: Caribbean), Renae Green (Executive Director, TransWave Jamaica: Caribbean), Kim Frost (United food and commercial workers-UFCW OUTreach: United States), and Mohamed Q. Amin (Executive Director Caribbean Equality Project: United States). Together, they will work to promote LGBTQIA+ human rights around the world.

Boulet will serve as the Canada Representative until the ILGANAC General Assembly in 2024.
