Toronto – Last year, LCBO sales provided $2.4 billion to pay for teachers, nurses, highways, and more. Yet despite record sales, management is pushing a bargaining agenda that is trying to create a weaker and meaner LCBO.
Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) members will march from their annual convention to the LCBO head office to show support for the 7,500 OPSEU members currently in negotiations with the LCBO, and their plan for a better LCBO.
Date: Friday, April 7, 2017
Time: 12:45 p.m. (March will begin at 12:10 p.m. from Metro Toronto Convention Centre)
Location: 55 Lakeshore Blvd E., Toronto
Participants:
Warren (Smokey) Thomas, President, OPSEU
Eduardo (Eddy) Almeida, First Vice-President/Treasurer, OPSEU
