OPSEU activists joined thousands on July 5 in a protest march through downtown Toronto where they demanded action on job creation, climate change and social justice. Unionists, environmentalis, anti-poverty groups, faith organizations, health care workers and First Nation peoples gathered at Queen's Park and then marched south on University Avenue, along Dundas Street West, before arriving at Allen Gardens where the rally ended with speeches, dancing and live music.
