Ontario colleges sent back to drawing table to readjust wage hikes for execs
Advanced Education Minister Deb Matthews has told colleges to change their plans for executive pay increases that students and union leaders termed unfair and out of line with other college workers.
Giant pay raises for college presidents may be blocked
Public outrage, including from the chair of OPSEU’s College Academic Division, has led the provincial government to order to colleges to revise proposals for executive compensation increases of as much as 50 per cent.
