OPS Table Talk 2015 Issue 32 – EESA negotiations completed

Your Corrections Bargaining Team returned to essential and emergency service agreement (EESA) negotiations on November 18 and19. Over the two days, the parties were able to complete the EESA agreements.

There will be no essential services work required by the Corrections Bargaining Unit. Local emergency services agreements will consist of institutional crisis intervention, cell extraction teams, community escorts officers and canine handlers.

The local emergency worksite agreements will be sent out shortly to all local presidents.

Your team’s next step will be to meet next week with the conciliation officer from the Ministry of Labour, along with the Employer’s bargaining team.

Thank you for your continued support.

In solidarity,

Your Corrections Bargaining Team
